Hi, I’m Cody Reed, the founder and sole advisor of RidgeLine Financial, an independent wealth management practice based in Grand Junction, Colorado.

I didn’t get into this business to chase trends or sell flashy products. I got into it to help people make smarter decisions with their money and to help them answer life’s bigger financial questions.

My philosophy is that managing wealth does not need to be complicated to be effective. In fact, the more complex things get, the easier it is to lose sight of what actually matters.

My investment and management approach is built on a few core principles: keep things simple, stay disciplined, and focus on long-term results. No unnecessary noise. No overreactions to the market. Just a clear plan and the patience to stick with it.

I’ve built my practice around relationships, not transactions. That means taking the time to understand what matters to each client and building something around their values, behaviors, and expectations.

Over the years, I’ve seen that the best outcomes don’t come from chasing the next big thing. They come from consistency, discipline, and having someone in your corner who keeps you focused when it matters most.

I take pride in making things straightforward by creating a relaxed environment and guiding conversations in a way that’s clear, practical, and easy to understand.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the mountains. I enjoy big game hunting, fishing, photography, camping, hiking, and exploring everything Western Colorado has to offer. My family's roots in Colorado stretch back more than a century, and I have a deep appreciation for its landscapes and the spirit of the West.
