Cody Reed

Hi, I’m Cody Reed, the founder and sole advisor of RidgeLine Financial, an independent wealth management practice based in Grand Junction, Colorado.

I didn’t get into this business to chase trends or sell flashy products. I got into it to help people make smarter decisions with their money and to help them answer life’s bigger financial questions. My philosophy is that managing wealth does not need to be complicated to be effective. In fact, the more complex things get, the easier it is to lose sight of what actually matters. My investment and management approach is centered on a few core principles: make things easy for clients, stay disciplined, and focus on long-term results. No unnecessary noise. No overreactions to the market. Just a clear plan and the patience to stick with it.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the mountains with my fiancé and our dogs. We spend many our weekends camping, 4wheeling, or doing some other outdoor activity. 

I enjoy big game hunting, fishing, photography, camping, hiking, and exploring everything Western Colorado has to offer. My family's roots in Colorado stretch back more than a century, and I have a deep appreciation for its landscapes and the spirit of the West.
